There are two box options to choose from. Classic will average around 4 to 5kg – Good for individuals or small families. The Big Box will average around 8 to 10kg – Good for mid-size families and big freezers

If you choose one of the subscription options, you will be able to switch boxes during the year if you wish, as well as being able to choose “add-ons” of additional cuts

All of our meat is sourced from our farm and from accredited Grandad’s Beef farms that we have partnered with who are revolutionizing regenerative farming. Our meat is of the highest quality and is always GE, hormone, and antibiotic-free.

Yes. Our team spends countless hours curating the individual boxes you receive monthly. We choose the best possible combinations while ensuring a wide variety of high-quality meats and utilizing the whole animal. However, you also have the option to add additional cuts e.g mince, sausages, etc to your order if you want to top up. Don’t worry, we won’t make you eat lamb hearts or any of the other variety meats if you don’t want too! However, you will be able to choose these as an “add-on” if you want to be a little more adventurous when these cuts are available.

Unfortunately we are not big enough to be able offer after-pay, however we will continue to request approval for this service and make it available just as soon as we can

Yes, if you are a residential customer select the box you want and sit back and wait for it to be delivered to your door – no extra freight costs will be added.

The meat is sent out fresh. Our boxes are packed with gel packs and woolcool insulation products designed to keep food cool. The gel will likely be defrosted on arrival, however the woolcool insulation will keep your meat chilled. We do recommend that you bring your box inside as soon as you can to ensure maximum freshness and high quality.

We send our products out in 100% recyclable cardboard boxes and we use Econic home compostable vacuum pack bags. We will collect gel packs and woolcool insultation once or twice a year depending on your subscription.

No, we need to send our boxes out at the beginning of the week to ensure boxes do not sit in courier depots over the weekend. We are also breaking down whole animals and therefore need to ensure all of the boxes are packed ready to send at the same time. You can select either monthly or bi-monthly delivery, and deliveries go out every 3rd Tuesday of the month.

No. Our boxes do not require a signature upon delivery; however, we do recommend that you bring your box inside as soon as you can to ensure maximum freshness and high quality. Please let us know if you have any special requests for delivery.

We cannot guarantee the delivery times for rural delivery and therefore recommend sending your meat box to a nearby business or residential address. However, we do have rural customers that are in contact with their rural delivery driver and are receiving their deliveries without issue. There is an additional $5 rural delivery fee if you choose this option, and it is at your own risk.

No, sorry we are not ready to do deliveries to the South Island yet (for the same reason as rural, we cannot guarantee overnight delivery). However, this is something we are working on and hope to deliver in the next phase.
